Sexual Harrassment In Landmark
Q: Can one tell us what steps Landmark has taken
recently with regard to prevention of sexual harrassment? Has there been
any training recently in that area? Any handouts? Has anything changed
recently with regard to the way Landmark trains its "leaders" to avoid
problems in this area?
A: There was a new sexual harrassment policy that came out a couple of months ago and all the leaders at my centre have recieved it. The main addition included in it was the banning of leaders dating people that assist for them ( so for example a Seminar Leader dating somebody on the production team ). Other things include where you look, touching, sexual jokes, pet names etc. The handout is several pages long. I'm not sure what official training that LEC has conducted but I do know that here, all the leader bodies have been briefed on cutting out practices like hugging, massaging when assisting in the centre.
