Any Recmd On Sexual Harrasement Prevention Videos ?
Q: I manage a 70 person metal stamping plant and need to find a good
video or cd to conduct sexual harrasement prevention training. We
recently had an incident and I want to take more agressive
preventitive action beyond the written policy in our policy manual.
Can anyone suggest a good video dealing with this topic that I can buy
or rent? I googled up several candidates, but rather that preview them
all, I thought I would ask if someone else can recmd a good one.
A: Even though our employer doesn't have an issue with harassment, our parent company does. We were required to take 16 HOURS!! of training last year. As they laid off 1/2 the workforce, questions of wasting 2 DAYS!! in training were finally heard and reduced to 1 day. We had to complete a CBT on sexual in particular. "Eye of the Storm" is a 'general harassment', though it was obvious the instructor was very racially biased. I walked away very pissed off that they would make us watch it. (green eye/blue eye lady) There was at least one video that did the 5 minute skits and told what employees 'should have done'. I'll see if the list is still on the web (our HR is going byebye with the merger...)
