Q: I need to refinance my home because of a divorce. Conseco is so high and The Associates do not refinance any longer. Anyone got a good place to go through? the home is in SD.
A: -In South Dakota, you might try Home Federal in Sioux Falls. Also, Firstar / US Bank is doing some MH lending now but terms are restrictive. I dont think Triad is in SD. Neither is Origen. You might try Vanderbuilt Mortgage if you absolutely have to do the deal. IMHO, they are still better than Conseco. Other than that, open the yellow pages and start calling local banks and credit unions. -Try going to this web site and submitting your info...The have 8 competing lenders that will look at your request..I think Vanderebilt is one of them..
