The Internet
Q: I am looking for C programming courses which are offered online via the Internet. Due to my erratic job schedule I am not able to attend classes at a specific location/time, but could take a class online since I would be able to connect at times convenient to me. At this point I am interested in an introductory-level C language course, and will be ready for more advanced topics later. I have found ZD University, but they only offer C++ at this time. Several of my colleagues are interested in online computer-related courses, as well. I would appreciate any information you can provide about sites which offer these services.
A: The comp.lang.c FAQ lists several online tutorials. Please look for: 18.9: Are there any C tutorials or other resources on the net? (One of them even managed by the author of the FAQ, a knowledgable, highly recommended C expert and teacher) You can get the FAQ at http://www.eskimo.com/~scs/C-faq/top.html or at ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/usenet/comp.lang.c/C-FAQ-list and it gets posted to this newsgroup and to news.answers regularly (at the beginning of each month).
