Ot - What Online Brokers Do You Use?

Q: I am a bit fed up with Scottrade - cheap and cheerful but they have a short limit of $4 on stocks and that is annoying me as GM was ripe, BAC too on occasion when they loose the run of themselves. US online broker please.

A: I am using ETrade, and am pretty happy with it. I am not sure if they have a short limit, but I know it is more than $10 They provide a decent java "windows" feed. Time & Sales, Watch List & Order entry are my main screens. News feed is very basic dow jones news headlines which is pretty useless - Google is much better or even Marketwatch. I like TD Ameritrade from what I have seen. Im using Charles Schwab they are bit pricey 12.00 in 12.00 out plus a penny and half for a stock more then a doller per share. Penny stock are just 12.00 in 12.00 out. i have no problem buying penny stocks with them. what makes the 12.00 in 12.00 out plus the penny half per shere worth it to me is there stock screeners they give you there rateings and their pretty on with that. and anfother thing i realy like is they tell you what stocks are on the move on opening bell. All the way throw the day so you can jump on the band wagin on stocks that are trending up that is how i found out about AIB. And there costumer support you can beat they will talk you throw any problem you have if your just learning how to trade you have to us Charles Schwab for sure they will give you a college chorse for free.and they are a banker to they give you free checks, Savings to and there atm cards they charge you nothing for using the atm world wide they will charge you the fee at the point of you using the atm but at the end of the mouth they put all the fees back in your account. the only bad thing is that there charts are not that good. but there are lots of sites that give you charts all and all im very happy with them. i hope this will help some one happy trading
