Lvs Bankruptcy Issues?

Q: Can anyone tell me why is this company away from bankrupty issues and potential to hit back $100 in a few years? I mean the singapore casino has been going through a lot of trouble and slowing down in terms of construction and even to a extent, might have to just sell it off and I also heard the news of the sands macau in negotiation of selling off. Is this just a temporary squeeze?

A: What do you think about MGM bankruptcy issues, debt load, extra baggage? Let's use the words that you have been hearing for all casino stocks...."IT'S BAKED IN" the stock price....as if to hide the mistake in the gravy. Lighten up, make some money :) There's no threat of bankruptcy. They have $4,000,000,000 in cash and credit on hand and the Singapore casino is actually seeing costs come DOWN due to USD strength and the commodities bubble bursting. In fairness to the first guy, I think the questions are warranted.I am not a shorter and always kept an eye on LVS, but haven't taken the plunge (yet). How are things looking for the long term in Singapore? Is there still a huge risk associated with the development? There are 3 kinds of people when it comes to the stock market. The ones who WATCH, what happens.....the ones who WONDER what happens...and the ones who MAKE things happen. The majority on here MAKE things happen in way of making money via LVS. Unless you plain on buying the company I would not worry about it. Go visit GM, AIG, C chat board.Everybody nabbed on the cheap this morning (like $7.50), except for me because Ameritrade was FUBAR. So I missed that trade. I like today so far. One thing I really noticed, i did an overlay of MGM and LVS charts for today, and they were almost identical twins. The market as of now is holding it's own for a Friday after such a run up. We'll see what happens next. The only thing I'm worried about (sort of) is there's people who just want to sell and move on holding the price down. There's not many buyers today, low volume, and that tends to drag the stock down even though these sellers numbers are small. I'd personally wait to see if you can nab it for $7.50 one day. But it's your call. Don't drop your whole load at once.
