Interested In Buying Stocks

Q: Good day everyone I'm totally new in stock market. My family has been discussed the issue that we firmly believe FORD will recover in a road ahead. So we have decided to buy 10-20k stocks from FORD, and will leave it for three-five years. I have following questions: Which service (internet, company or any methods) do you guys use or recommend to buy stocks? I live in Southern California. One of my premier banker (who is recommending me to invest in Mutual share) says if in a case FORD makes profits, instead of giving dividents to the share holders, they would re-invest on their company to make it stronger. On the other hands, i heard Google share holders took goodies by this bonuses. How this thing works?

A: I use Scottrade. Very easy to use. You have right idea- just have the stomach to handle some nasty mood swings as Ford tries to recover. Don't worry about Ford going bankrupt-Ford family has too much invested to let it go bust. Just don't go jumping in if you can't stand the heat. 10-20K is pretty hefty investment; don't have plans to pull it out for at least 3-4 years to get a decent return. good luck, frank Zecco.com - You can make up to 10 free trades in any one day up to a total of 40 free trades a month if you have 2.5K in the account.
