Q: Hello Everyone, I'm currently applying for an account with the E*Trade and just wondering about shares buying speed. If I will place order to buy n shares, how fast will it be confirmed? 1 minute, 2 minutes?
A: usually if if its the right price, within 1 second maybe 1/2 second Depends on the asset's liquidity. If there's ample volume for the issue then seconds. In other words, if its something like MSFT it should take a second. If its something like PHB it might take 15 minutes. Usually a couple of minutes or so. Are you buy Etrade shares?
