Wbs & Material List

Q: I uploaded our combined WBS and a Material List based on what projects we will be tackling. I also emailed these files to Roya, so we're set for our deliverables tonight. If your project is not listed, that's because another team has it in their scope (solar panels, faucets, etc.). Graham, it looks like the Electrical team has the solar panels on their material list, so we don't need to include it on ours but we should help them try to get the panels donated. Does everybody still want to try for the solar water heater for the hot tub? It would be a nice feature but could we hook the hot tub up to one of the tankless water heaters? Also, I'm going to be out sick today. I think I have the flu. Wednesday's deliverables include the SOW, pre-project plan and quality and performance standards. If you guys have time today in class, please try to brainstorm this stuff.

A: The electrical team has someone, with contacts at REC Solar who we are going to try to get panels through, but this might just be at reduced cost not full donation, we'll see. The solar water heater, probably wont have the temp-volume needed for a hot-tub, especially for extended night use. I think if we get two flash-heaters one could be used for that, but its probably gonna come down to if the family wants to foot the bill for paying for its electric bill they will use it.
