Sexual Harassment Question
Q: Can "sexual harassment" occur not in an employment environment?
Of course, it can happen on any place populated by parties
susceptible to sexual harassment, either as victims, or as aggressors:
in an airplane, at a bbq party, at a supermarket while waiting in
line, even at a family reunion or during a religious service.
Now, if there is a cause of action, that's a different story and
depends of circumstances. What's tabu in the work environment may be
inocuous tastless behavior in a singles' bar.

As someone else already explained, work environment is where SH hurts
the most. When livelihood is at stake, victims of SH need most
protection so that they won't need to choose between calling the
Police to report a rape (an extreme case of SH) and paying next month
rent and the grocery bills.
