Sapphire And Silver Ring
Q: Does anyone out there do custom jewlery? I am looking for information on
how I could acquire a sapphire ring set in silver. This would serve as
my engagement ring (I hate gold). I'm looking for about .50 carat.
A:Uh, well, custom work is all I do. Ig you have not chosen a jeweler
yet, or even if you just want to discuss what it is you want, drop me
a line. BTW, why do you hate gold (just curious)? ANY gold or just
yellow?
No problem at all, we have nearly ten thousand stock designs all built
by experienced union career journeyman benchworkers as well as a full
blown special order department. We work from customer's sketches or
samples submitted and bid each item... You can "save a fortune" by
using one of our special order patterns of the wax boards, and the
.50ct. sapphire should be realitievly inexpensive as well, depending on
what you want...
Ya might just request our 127 page catalog of the ten thousand items
for reference, our wax boards have saved our customer's tens of
thousands of dollars over the last twenty years, we're very experienced
and take pride in both our products and our large shop performance...

Have you considered platinum also? It is heavier and more durable than
silver, as well as non-reactive. Since it is the token of a union you
hope to endure throughout your life, you might want to consider using
this more expensive material. Just think, you only have to buy it once.
