A: -If you are a US resident, you are entitled to a free report annual from all three major agencies. There is no "market leader" in free reports - you just go to the real web site https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp and request it. Avoid the millions of scam sites with similar names that will try to sell you all sorts of junk you don't need, or worse. -The links given by others are correct, but as they have mentioned, there are many, many scam sites that look similar to the legitimate one. So I prefer to go to the FTC website and click on their link to ensure that I did not mistype the URL. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/edcams/freereports/index.html This is free, but it only lists your credit history, it does provide your score. You can pay a little extra for the score.
