Repocession, Since They Didnt Follow Through On Their End???
Q: We live in Colorado, my husband is from Scotland only been in the country a couple of years, we moved out here from Tennessee, where the average site built house is $80,000... site built in Colorado, average $150,000+ for a small older home. We were totally suckered by AAA Homes! They seduced us with a beautiful large manufactured home, and a bunch of lies! They promised us they would put us on land, but we would have to be in a park for 6 months. Talked us into all of the upgrades for going on land...and since we were just going to be in the park for 6 s, didnt include stairs and skirting (said we could do something temporary till they got us on land)....we told them and told them, we did NOT want to be in a park, but they promised we would just be here 6 months, and even paid 6 months of the lot rent... well, a year later, we are still in the park, and AAA Homes (now Cavco Homes) has totally washed their hands of us, and wont even return our phone calls! They never came and fixed the drywall, and half a zillion other things the promised us. As soon as we had signed on the dotted line, they had nothing more to do with us. We feel like total fools for falling for their lies, and are now stuck with a house we dont want, and we cant sell.... Most of the land in Colorado doesnt allow Manufactured homes, or needs so much done with septic
