Acid Reflux Cause Nausea
Q: Anyone have symptoms of deathly nausea in addition to the "normal" ibs
symptoms?
I Had nausea attacks when my condition first developed 2 years ago but
then they went and only the stomach cramps,dia,headaches etc remained.
But in last few days theyve returned apparently for no reason. They only
last 20ish mins but in that time they knock you off your feet.
A:I had acid reflux real bad, which cause nausea for me. I was able to
eliminate the reflux symptoms with 30mg Provacid. Then through a forced
elimination diet (I got REAL sick), I discovered that High Fructose Corn
Syrup was causing my IBS symptoms.
Have you tried an elimination diet???
I wouldn't recommend the way I did it, but I would never have figured it out
if I hadn't been forced to drink water only for 3 days.
I believe abnormal motility in the upper gi system for many of us is
just a manifestation of the same problem affecting our lower gi system:
a screwed-up central nervous system that causes abnormal motility
throughout the entire gut.
