About Acid Reflux
Q: Finally my temperature is gong down and I'am starting to feel
a little bit better. I was given aciphex for the acid reflux.Does it work well? Has anyone taken this? Any side
affect? I take 75 synthroid 225.mg of imiapramine and prempro I hope
there is no side affects god knows I have enough symptoms!! Now that my
tsh is 1.6. Is it possible that the acid reflux will go away? I'v also
lost 2 lbs with out trying
Can anyone give me any advice on this?
A:Is the acid reflux at night? People with thyroid problems "often"
develop sleep apnea - one of the symptoms of sleep apnea is acid reflux
while you're sleeping. Other symptoms include snoring, morning
headaches (especially if you have ANY alcohol), waking often during the
night - especially to go to the bathroom, and day time sleepiness. I
was diagnosed with sleep apnea and when I was researching that I asked
to have my thyroid checked. Treating my thyroid has made the sleep
apnea much better, but not eliminated it completely. Untreated apnea
can cause strokes and heart attacks so it's not to be taken lightly.
You can still try my treatment to get rid of that.
