Dental School Application Essay Question?
Q: Are there any good sites for help with writing acceptance essays for
your dental school app?
A:Im assuming you mean writing an essay in hopes of being accepted. When I got
into dental school, I didn't have to write an acceptance essay.
Just say what you feel. There isn't any formula for this essay; it's just a
way for you to express why you want to be a dentist, why that school should
want you over someone else, etc. If they like what you say it will help, if
they don't like it, then it won't help.
Don't tell them you're in it for the money; they might believe you.
Demonstrate a general knowledge of dentistry by doing some work experience
and noting some words and phrases; most dentists would be more than happy to
chat to a prospective colleague like yourself.
If you have any specific 'dental' questions I'd be happy to 'fill' you in so
you sound like you've done your homework.
