An Early Sign Of Pregnancy

If your looking for the earliest sign of pregnancy, there may be many different confusing factors to consider. The most important sign is that of a missed menstrual cycle. Though it is fairly common for women to skip periods on occasion, if you experience a missed cycle in conjunction with some of the early symptoms of pregnancy, it is best to take a pregnancy test right away to determine whether or not you are actually expecting. One early sign of pregnancy that occurs in many women is nausea. Sometimes known as morning sickness, many women experience this first thing in the morning. Though this is a common time for it to occur, some women actually have afternoon or evening nausea episodes in addition to, or instead of morning episodes. Nausea is one of the first signs of pregnancy, because it can start merely a few days after conception has taken place. Breast tenderness is another sign of pregnancy. Though breast tenderness can also be a sign of an oncoming menstrual period, it is also a pregnancy symptom. If your breasts are swollen and tender, and if you begin experiencing a darkening of the nipple, and if you have missed a menstrual cycle, it is possible that you are experiencing a pregnancy symptom. Moodiness and irritability are also signs of pregnancy, though they, too, are signs of an oncoming period. However, this moodiness is caused by a sudden extreme change in the body's hormonal make-up, so the shift is quite drastic and noticeable. If you are accustomed to monthly irritability, you will probably notice a difference in the scope and nature of your mood when it is a pregnancy symptom rather than a premenstrual symptom.
