Of Financial Debt In The UK?
Q: What is the rule as far as moving to the states while still having a small bit of financial debt in the UK? Do they allow you to go still? My fiancee's ex- boyfriend is having trouble paying a loan that she co-signed for him. He is threatening backruptcy as well......my fiancee says their is nothing she can do and EGG (the loan company) doesn't seem to want to work with her. I guess I'll just have to go and shake him down when I go to visit in a few weeks!! lol Any advice please would be appreciated..
A: The US government don't care. The US credit agencies can't check the UK credit (this is obviously a plus if you have bad credit in the UK but it's a royal pain in the butt for the rest of us who had good credit and started back at square one).
