Nouveau Jewelry?
Q: Does anyone know of any jewelers in the U.S. who specialize in art nouveau jewelry? I know Circle Gallery has some limited Mucha jewelry, but I know there is a lot more out there--at least I hope!
A: There are several stores on 47th street between 5th & 6th avenues here in New York City, that carry art nouveau and art deco. Since the items you want are all "Estate" you never know what a store will have on a given day. The best thing to do is just wander up and down the block and check everything out. Almost every store in the block is a jewelry store or part of a jewelry exchange.
