A:I suggest that you would be better off using GED manuals. Not the comprehensive 5 subjects in one, but the individual manuals for each test. You can purchase separate manuals for each of the five subjects. (Math, Social Studies, Science, Literature and Arts, and Writing Skills) A few good publishers are Steck Vaugn, Contemporary, South Western, Glencoe, and Cambridge. These books are available in GED and PREGED levels. You should go to an adult learning center in your area to get help in evaluating your reading level so that you will be able to choose the appropriate books for your reading level. You will also need help with the essay portion because it is very difficult to evaluate your own essays. I wish you a lot of luck in your endeavors. If you have any questions, feel free to write.
