Q: I have some wonder about immigration to US. My current situation is that I am here on a visa waiver from the UK. Can I marry an american and stay? Can anyone of you give me some advice???

A: No, you can't . In order to "adjust" your status, you need to enter the US with a B visa. You cannot adjust your status based on visa waiver. The visa waiver program is for non-immigration intent so technically one is not suppose to get a visa waiver for the intention of immigrating. That would fall under the State department rule. However, under INS rules you can adjust your status even if you entered on the visa waiver program. being as how this moron was from "getusavisa.com" they most likely know more about "visas" then they do about actually INS stuff.
