Vintage Style Jewelry
Q: Just wanted to see what kinds of vintage stuff other agf'ers are into
(if any at all).I think a lot of my stlye is influenced by vintage fashion. I live
for vintage clothing. Sometimes I like to dress at least as close to
period as I can get, but most of the time I try to put my own twist on
it.
A:I have bought most of my clothes at thrift stores ever since I was a
little kid, my love for vintage developed early.
I love everything from 20s to 80s, but rather than trying to look "period", I
just mix & match whatevers in my closet for my own unique, wacked out look.
Some of my favorites:
beaded cardigans
vintage slips- I am obsessed! and the rattier thay look, the more I love them.
40s rayon dresses- I am an absolute sucker for these.I am sad its become so
hard to find wearable ones at affordable prices.
LOUD printed skirts
Stevie nicks style jaggedy hem stuff
India cotton hippie stuff (60s-70s)
disco dresses
but I love old clothes in general & wear them on a daily basis
