It Tarnish?

Q: I recently took out my jewelry box, full of silver jewelry, and discovered that a lot of it was tarnished. I attempted to clean some pieces but I did not have much luck. Can anyone recommend a silver jewelry cleaner? And also why do some of my silver pieces never seem to tarnish? PS Has anyone had experience with silver jewelry from Tiffany's , does it tarnish?

A: Yeah, Tiffany's tarnishes, all silver does (just at varying rates due to reasons unknown to me), and if you wear it while you're sweating a lot it turns BLACK. of course, I was wearing my tiffany's heart toggle necklace for three days straight almost while biking in the Keys, so it got a lot blacker a lot faster than it does for the usual almost daily wear back home. Try Connoisseur's liquid Silver cleaner, its in a grey/silver bottle from Whatever-Mart. Dip your jewelry for about 15-20 seconds. You can't put stones or enamel in it, but for stuff like that, q-tips dipped in the silver cleaner are great. rise after dipping. after you've used that cleaner, get one of those silver polishing clothes that's doubled sided. use the cleaning side first then the polishing side for a really that beautiful warm shine silver gets when its nice and clean. :-) I'm a silver lover (though i would't turn my nose gold, as both look great on me... just silver is a lot cheaper) and dirty silver is a huge pet peeve of mine.
