Most people may not think too much about their engagement ring finger but you probably should give it a little thought, especially if you plan on placing a ring on that finger. When you decide to buy an engagement ring for the woman you love think about what she would be happy with. You have to remember that this is not just a symbol of how much you love her, but it is also something she will be wearing everyday. Because of this you want to buy something that she will feel comfortable wearing on a daily basis. You should take into consideration things like, what are some of the things she enjoys doing? For example, is she a very athletic person? If so, she would need an engagement ring that is not too big so she could wear it comfortably when she is having fun. Maybe the woman you love just prefers small and simple jewelry. If so you don't want to buy her a large diamond engagement ring. If she is the type of person who loves jewelry that stands out and makes a statement then you would want to buy something according to this preference. Another thing that you should consider when thinking about her engagement ring finger is what color gold does she prefer. Is all of her other jewelry white gold or yellow gold? Perhaps she has a mixture of both. It is important to know this so you can place a ring on that engagement finger that is not only comfortable for her, but one that matches her other jewelry. It is possible that the she prefers platinum to white or yellow gold. You really wouldn't want to buy her a yellow gold ring when everything else she wears is platinum. These are a few things to consider when you first start thinking about placing that engagement ring on her finger.
