Treating Depression With Cr Paxil
For many people suffering from depression, CR Paxil is a good option when you are investigating drug treatments. CR stands for "controlled release," which means you can take one pill a day and feel the effects over the course of several hours. CR Paxil is currently being used to treat depression, social anxiety disorder, and various panic disorders, and has relatively low incidence of side effects. CR Paxil differs from regular Paxil in that it has a controlled absorption rate. It is an antidepressant of the type known as serotonin reuptake inhibitors. If you are over eighteen years old, CR Paxil may be an option for treating your depression. However, it is not approved for use in children and teenagers. Also, if you are pregnant, you should consult with your doctor before taking the medication, as taking the medication can result in certain complications at the time of delivery. Like all anti-depressants in the serotonin reuptake inhibitor class, CR Paxil does have some reported side effects. These include nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, weakness or sleeplessness, among others. Though these side effects can be troublesome, CR Paxil has a low incidence of patients stopping taking the drug because of these symptoms. Many patients are so satisfied with the results regarding treatment of depression that they choose to live with minor side effects in favor of the positive effects. However, if side effects become severe, you might consider discontinuing usage and trying out another anti-depressant. It is important not to abruptly stop taking CR Paxil, as this may cause some adverse effects. Patients may experience dizziness, anxiety, headaches and sleep disturbances if they stop taking the drug too quickly. If you decide that CR Paxil is not right for you, you should consult with your doctor to develop a plan to wean yourself off of your dosage slowly enough to avoid strong side effects.
