I'm A Correctional Officer Who Is Being Accused Of Sexual Harrassment?

Q: I'm a correctional officer who is being accused of sexual harrassment? I have worked for the dept of corrections for 7 years, I attend school at night to better myself, I have been written up only once when I first came to the dept of corrections, for accidentally touching a female on her elbow. Let me explain, the dept has a policy in which female officers if they feel they have been sexually harassed can file a complaint. That complaint was done away with it, now I have a female officer stating that I made advances to her, when I have not done so. Since being here I have seen several other male officers be put under investigation, for a woman who for this reason or that feels she "can get away with it". Why is the system written where female officers can use their words to advance but a man cannot use his words to defend himself. Why is the sytem designed to allow some women to lie and get away with it. The woman in my life is very supportive, but she feels I need to sue.

A: The main thing is, when it comes to sexual harassment is that men can't defend themselves with their words because there have been a ton of men I am sure who have lied about not sexually harassing a woman when in truth they actually did. The main thing I can suggest is that once you are off being under investigation, tranfer to another prison (if there is one closest to you) or at least try to transfer to another area of the prison.
