National Guard and Reserve soldiers and their families also have access to the expertise that manages more than 81 billion dollars in assets. Not only are the immediate family members of a military person offered the service, but they are also offered to adult children and former spouses. Another plus to USAA insurance is that it has offices in Europe. At some point any active military person is likely to be stationed overseas in Europe, so it is nice to know that you have relatively quick access to an office, and someone who understands your circumstances. USAA insurance works like any other insurance. You buy a policy and pay premiums. In return, if something goes wrong, you are covered.
