Acne Scar Treatment Stories

Q: I would like to hear from people who had succesful (surgical) acne scar treatments. Especially, I would like to know if anyone has experiences with dermabrasion or subcision treatments and if it helped. My doc told me that my scars would be best treated by excision - does anyone has experiences with the results of this procedure ? Does anyone know the names of doctors he/she can recommend for acne scar treatment in Germany or Europe ?

A: -I have had a dermoabrasion and 2 years after a laser resurfacing. Resurfacing was just a waste of time. Dermoabrasion improved scars about 30%. (Doctor sais i would need even 2 more dermoabrassions) I have really deep acne scars. -I am contemplating having facila skin resurfacing in the next 60 days. the price is step $3250 and not covered by insurance. My doctor told me that it would clear 85% of my scars. I am conerned about the risks. I have acne since my teens and now that I'm older my acne has gone away but I'm left with acne scars and blemishes that I like to get rid of. Send me photos and let me hear more about your surgery
