Heartburn Indigestion Diarrhea
Q: has anyone else experiencing vomiting due to heartburn in late pregnancy? due in two days, experienced this for the first time about 3 weeks ago and again last night. it is accompanied by diarrhea too... i assume its normal because of the pressure on my stomach from the baby but if anyone has any tips on how to remedy this problem please help me.
A:Yes, it's the worst. I'm over 37 weeks and I've had horrible heartburn to the point where I have thrown up. Lately it's been getting a little better because I've been taking medicine for it. My doctor told me that I can take Zantac and I practically live off of Tums. You should ask your doctor what kinds of medicine they recommend for you. I haven't been experiencing the diarrhea. I was told in class that if you start having diarrhea it could be your system's way of cleaning itself out before labor starts. Might be getting close with the rest of your pregnancy and call your doctor so that you can get some relief from the heartburn
Tums did absolutely nothing for me but i found that when i drank sprite it did more than the tums did. I also found that i get heartburn more often when im not very active. (Being on bedrest cant really help that). I heard that it goes away after you give birth so you're almost there anyways.
