A:Driver education teaches people how to pass the test. Passing on either side is OK as long as the other drivers use their mirrors properly. There are pleanty of good books available to learn how to drive after hetting your licence,but few use these-or advanced driving instruction. T%hose who search out these books and/or classed are probably above average drivers and want to "fine tune" a bit. IIFC,timing cars over a set distance is very rstricted in California.
