Top Mba School

Q: I need your help. Can you send me the list of the Top MBA schools in the US or better yet, in the World?! Send it to me via email, please.

A:Check out the report by THE ECONOMIST INTELLIGENCE UNIT report "Which MBA? A Critical Guide to the World's Best Programmes" -- then you'll get alot more than all these US schools -- there are alot of good schools out there, it all depends on what field you want to major in!! To the person who asked about the cornflake business: Kellogg is the business is the business school of Northwestern University- I think it was ranked #1 in one of those college guides for MBAs. Harvard was ranked second. => The Business Week rankings rank American schools but the Economist magazine intelligence unit ranks MBA programs on a worldwide basis. The top 10-15 American schools are included as well as INSEAD in France, IMD in Switzerland, Heriot-Watt University in Scotland and about 30 other schools. It's called "Which MBA? A critical guide to the world's best programmes." Rankings are fun and all but one should also be wary about them. Yes, you should go to an accredited school and probably choose only from the Top 20. But is #1 really better than #2? Or #3 better than #4? I think that within the Top 10, the decision has to involve other factors like geographic preferences (e.g. big city or university town), and where you plan to pursue work (US or Philippines) afterwards. For example, Fordham in NYC is not ranked but is recognized in the Philippines as a good school (mainly because of all the Ateneans who have gone there). Also it is relatively easy to get funded there due to assistanships and work study. One should also not overlook AIM which is widely respected in the Philippines and, in fact, the whole of Asia.
