New York State - What Do You Think Of?
When people think about New York State, they generally think about sight seeing. They think about all of the museums, night life, and other activities that make New York a popular tourist site. However, New York can be a great place to live for a lot of reasons. One big reason to live in New York State is the educational opportunities. There are many colleges in New York State. They are all unique institutions of higher education. One of the colleges that is most often recognized by name, is NYU. This is one of the largest private universities in the US. The competition to get into this college is strong. Those who get in really have something to be proud of. Another college that is home to New York State is Columbia University. This college has a unique history. It was founded a long time ago in 1754. That makes it the oldest college in New York State, and the fifth oldest in the United States. It was founded as King's College by royal charter of King George II of England. New York State has a lot to offer both tourists and residents. If it is higher education you are looking for, New York State has many opportunities. If you are just looking for a great place to party, it can offer that too. Or if you are like some college students, it can be a two in one deal. Once you finish your education, New York State has numerous opportunities. With so many businesses in this state, there is bound to be a place for you. However, even if you don't wish to permanently settle here, it is still a great place to get your education. It has many great institutions and career education programs. Plus, you will get to see a side of life that you might not have seen elsewhere.
