Does Anyone Have Ideas On Drivers Ed At Home?

Q: I have been homeschooling for almost a year now, and just got my learner's permit. My mom and I are wondering if anyone has any ideas about home-based driver's ed. We called the high schools in town and all the classes are completely full. The behind-the-wheel classes are on hold because the car the schools had was leased and the dealer won't renew it or whatever. I get my license in June, and would like to find something I can do by then.

A:Across the nation, there are a number of very good private drivers education schools. {In many cases, their instruction is rated as superior to that of high schools. This could be because they typically only have one student in the car with the instructor for the full hour driving session instead of several students riding in the car with changes of driver during the hour as is done in many high schools.} In my experience with foreign graduate students who need to learn to drive, in most of the US, Sears Easy Method's instructors seem to be quite able to deal with the extra problems one faces in teaching driving to someone with somewhat limited English comprehension skills {TOEFL in the 500's even}.
