Does Anyone Have Any Advice For Taking Online Classes ?

Q: I am finally going to be able to go to college and will be taking courses online, I've gone through the FAFSA enrolled at a college and im just waiting for some paperwork to go through and will be signing up classes come this Spring to first work toward my associates in IT. Does anyone have any advice for taking online classes or tips that can help me get started or any information or experiences that they would not mind sharing?

A:- Don't procrastanate. Try and stay a week a head of the coursework, that way if something comes up you wont fall behind. Try and set a time frame for every week. Most single units at the undergraduate level will take you between 6-10 hours a week. For me, I try and do most of my work Mon-Thurs leaving Friday and Saturday night open for fun and anything left over I do on Sundays. If you dont do more than three units a semester, assuming you work fulltime, you should have no problem keeping up. If your studying full time than you should have no problem with a full course load. - Take one class at a time, and don't get in a hurry. Most people who take online courses do so because they have other things going on in their life life work or a family. We tend to want to go ahead and get the online education out of the way, but take it slow.
