Distance Education
The distance education is very popular with university students. The student receives the study material in the form of printed material, audio and video tapes and of late in the form of CD-ROMs and emails. The teacher can send the requisite instructions for studying particular portions of the course through computer. Similarly, the student finishes his study and submits the assignment in much the same fashion. Beyond this regular arrangement, the teacher and the students often meet personally at contact classes to have an overview of the progress of the studies. The distance education is a boon to students of remote areas. Some of you may be into a job and would like to continue with your education or even acquire still higher degrees. The main point for consideration here is that you should check upon the accreditation of the university before enrolling for such education. Actually, many reputed universities have a separate department for imparting education under this system. The distance education is at par with the regular classroom education. The degree is equally valid. Those who are pursuing such education along with their employment set an example to many others. They can impress their employers by being able to correlate the two and carry along finely. There are many advantages of distance education. You need not commute daily to your place of study and you are able to study at home at your convenience. If need be, you can also seek employment. You are able to receive education from any institution wherever the location may be. This way you are able to combine the best of both the worlds for your benefit.
