Computer Technology Undergraduate Degree?

Q: I am looking for an undergraduate degree in Computer Technology that would be suitable for use in an educational setting. Obviously I would prefer an accredited University. It would be a major bonus if it were Canadian, But US is fine.

A: Athabasca University, a provincially governed institution in Alberta, offers a B.Sc. in Computing and Information Systems through a "four year," 120 credit program. It's quite a comprehensive program - Athabasca seems to be one of the better institutions out there offering distance learning courses in CIS with practicums. See their web site at
