Adjuster Continuing Education

Q: A Vancouver C-Tran bus ran a red light and crashed into my car, and now I'm in pain and scared quite a bit but I already had a lower back injury and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and this has just exacerbated it and given me an upper back injury. Also, my 1990 Ford Taurus was, of course, totaled, and although the C-Tran insurance adjuster is being kind to me (probably because there were many witnesses, including the car behind me, who told them my light was definitely green) I have no idea what to do and am not having very good luck finding a good lawyer to help me. Any thoughts?

A:I noticed that. I am definitely in a lot more pain than ever before and am having new symptoms from new injuries that I did not have before. Waking up to a body wracked with pain and living life having to move more slowly and trying to keep my balance when walking and getting migraine headaches every day and being afraid to drive but forcing myself and missing out on continuing my education this term and on the plans I had made to spend time with my son are all things I want to be compensated for. Also, my poor little dog was injured in the accident and I have been too overwhelmed with my own pain and trying to handle all of this on my own, in addition to my normal overwhelmingly busy schedule, to notice. C-Tran needs to pay to restore my dog's health as well as my own. That dog means as much to me as if she were my child and I am so thankful she is alive still. I still can't believe I am still alive and all my body parts are still attached and functioning.
