Free Ged Practice Tests

Q: Need info in GED by distance learning.

A:Marcie Thorson's book "Campus Free College Degrees", has, in spite of the title, a great section on high school degree completion. Available from Amazon. Peterson's (www.petersons.com) has a book, the name of which escapes me, something like "10,000 correspondence courses" that includes a large collection of high school courses. On a more basic level, several people have software out there to help you learnthe materials for the GED, complete with practice tests and drills. In most states, there are "drop-in" GED study groups that operate morning, afternoon, and evening. These are usually free, and will often waive the GED test fee if you take and pass the pretests offered at the drop-in centers.
