To Many Years?

Q: Can a debt recovery service pursue an outstanding debt until the debt is paid, even though the debt was subsequently charged-off by the issuing bank. Is there any time period for the recovery service to pursue the debt, or can they simply pursue the matter for as long as it takes, even if this amounts to many years?

A: - A debt recovery service can pursue a debt until the debt is paid or settled, recalled by the credit grantor if it was an assigned v. purchased account, or the statute of limitations expires, or is discharged in bankruptcy which ever occurs first.
