Credit bureau in turn analyzes all this information and gives you credit scores. The higher the credit score in your personal credit report the easier for you get loans and lower the credit scores the difficult to get a loan. This is because no finance company wants to spend their time and energy in making collection calls and chasing you for making payments. Moreover, financial institutions determine inertest rates depending on your personal credit report. If you have a low credit score, you will have to pay higher interest rates. You can get a personal credit report for free or by paying a nominal fee. For this, you will have to make request to the credit rating company, who would in turn send you your detailed report. This report is extremely confidential and no one can access this without your permission. Once you get this and see nay discrepancy you must get it rectified by informing the company along with relevant documents.
