On All Three Credit Reports.

Q: Today I received a letter from Russell Collection Agency shows that I still owes $339 to Alexandria Hospital Emergency Room (Phyisician Bill) since Feb. 13, 1996! I tried to resolve this problem with collection agency a year ago by show my proof of paid from my health insurance but they ignored it. They can't prove that my claim letter from Blue-Cross Blue-Shield Insurnace paid $339 to my account! In Feb 13, 1996, I had auto accident because someone lost control and his car went on sidewalk to hit me in bus shelter that waited for bus. He totally damaged the bus shelter and broke my leg. Thank God, I still was alive. I was took by firemen to Alexandria Hospital Emergency Room and was on operated to fix my leg. Later I was able walk on my own foot again. Later I received that bill from Alexandria Hospital Emergency Room (Physician Bill) for $339. They filed a claim with my Blue-Cross Blue-Shield Health Insurance. Later, I received a claim letter from my insurance. They paid my bill in full and I do not have responsible for any charges due to accident. Later I received another bill from Alexandria Phyisician Emergency Room shows that they still did not receive a claim check from my insurance. They attempted to file a claim again and again for a year. I received so many claim letters show that they already received the claim check! That was collection harassment aganist my insurance and me. Its reason is FRAUD aganist me and my insurance. A year later, they finally overturned my unpaid account to the Russell Collection Agency. I received a bill from the collection agency. I called Blue-Cross Blue-Sheild to report that. They looked into that. A few months later, Alexandria Physician Emergency Room finally received another claim check. That was too late because they already filed for debt collection. Later, I tried to apply for credit but was denied due to default loan collection. I called credit buearu and found out that my debt collection was listed in credit reports. Russell Collection Agency ruined my all three credit history records! Later, First USA Bank raised interest rate to least 22.49% APR on my Mastercard credit card account. I called First USA Bank to find out that. I received a letter and its reason was my debt collection! They will not lower interest rate until my debt collection is removed from credit reports. I called First USA Bank to cancel my Mastercard credit card account for good because I tried paid that bill but balance always stays forever. My monthly payment almost is equal to interest charge! A year ago, I ordered a three-credit history report from TrueCredit web site and received a copy. I noticed that my debt collection still are on all three credit reports. I called Blue-Shield Blue-Cross Insurnace to ask for a copy of claim information to show my collection a proof. I sent a copy to Russell Collection Agnecy to show proof that my insurance paid in full. However, they still did not agree with my copy that really paid in full. They told me that my insurnace should pay my bill to doctor, not hosptial. However, my copy of claim said that my insurnace did paid to Alexandria Physician Emergency Room for doctor. They refuse to remove my debt collection for any reason forever. That was full of lies! Does anyone have any segguestions? Should I file a law suit aganist Russell Collection Agency and Alexandria Physician Emergency Room for fraud? Should I file disputes with all three credit buearu to remove

A: You need a lawyer, man. Look in the Yellow Pages for the sharkiest, most hungry-looking lawyer who specializes in bankruptcies and debt collections. These guys are breaking the law if they continue to attempt to collect the debt after you've said you don't owe it and provided evidence to that effect, and you need a law beast to threaten to sue the sh*t out of them until they remove the trash from your credit report. Unfortunately, the Fair Debt Collector Protection Act prohibits judgements that would have the effect of putting a scumbag debt collector out of business. A pity, that
