Card Debt Into The Fha Loan?
Q: I am in the process of purchasing a house. Nearly all of the FHA loan work is complete except the closing. Also, I want to consolidate about $12,000 in credit card debt sometime in the near future. My question is this: If I chose to, could I somehow fold that credit card debt into the FHA loan?
A: Not likely with the FH
A: You could with some other lenders, but keep in mind that your interest rate would sky rocket, to the point where it would cost you more over the long run to put it in the mortgage than if you simply pay it off on your own.
