Help Me Solve My Puzzle :) ?

Q: I've got a puzzle that has my mind twisted and can't seem to get my mind wrapped around it. It is classified as "hard". It's one of those puzzle that has a string attached to a metal piece and of course, there' the ring that you have to get out :) If anyone is interested in seeing a picture of it, I've put pictures of the puzzle at : http://www.geocities.com/aunst8_2000/PuzzlePage.html

A: Or look toward the bottom left of this page: http://unclespuzzles.com/severe.html If you agree that a solution to "Rope" would meet your needs as well, then mail the guy at that site and maybe he'll get you a solution. I've solved it, but it's hard to describe how. The first step is to push that smallest ring through that one hole, just as you'd expect... BUT you push it through from the other side! Then hook it over the bumpy thing (and one end of the rope) and pull it back through the same hole. Bring the smallest ring all the way back around and the solution might kind of present itself. I can only solve those types of puzzles by working on them myself by hand. Looks like you might have to stuff it between the metal loop there or something...sorry. Wow. You're awesome. I find it amazing that I took a pitcture of this puzzle last night and in less than one day, someone was able to identify it and point me to a website selling it. What a world !!!!!!! Also.... you're right.... reading your solution description, I'd say it's hard to describe but I'll try what you say :)... and I'll email the website as a backup :) your solution: I've solved it, but it's hard to describe how. The first step is to push that smallest ring through that one hole, just as you'd expect... BUT you push it through from the other side! [You mean from the inside of the big metal ring through to the outside... right?] Then hook it over the bumpy thing (and one end of the rope) and pull it back through the same hole[if I hook it onto the metal stub, I can't pull it back thru the hole since it's on the stub]. Bring the smallest ring all the way back around and the solution might kind of present itself.
