Ultrex Cookware- How Does It Really Work

Q: I am very interested in the Ultrex cookware that is advertised on the HSN. But being the researcher I am, I could not find the company, the warranty, ratings, reviews, or anything about the product on the Internet. Until I find out some of the above Info I will not purchase the products. Does anyone know the web address of the company, any relavant reviews of the product, and warranty info beyond just the 55 year blurb on HSN. They make alot of lofty claims, such as being the best cookware in America, metal utensils can be used without harming the non-stick surface, etc... Thank you for any info on the product,

I use a utensil for Teflon coated pans, simply because I have it and I just like using it. I have never used metal utensils. The pans look like new and things do not stick in them. I remember the old Teflon coatings used to scratch off, I have not noticed any of this as of yet. I enjoy cooking in them. You will ot find out anything on the open market about Ultrex because it is a propriority name of HSN just like Cooks Essentilas is the propriority name of QVC. Incedentally one day during the QVC demonstration of the faulty cutaway pan they held it up a little too far and accidentally showed the Ultrex trademark. Al
