Q: i don't recognize the cookware Nigella uses on Nigella Bites. at first i thought it was Bourgeat Tradition Plus, but now i don't think so. anyone recognize it? in particular, i'm curious about the saucepans she uses.
A: Don't know if this is the one, but could it be Fissler Profi 18/10 stainless steel cookware? - the site claims so... http://www.thearcadewales.co.uk/fissler.htm I watch Nigella Bites regularly and love most of the modern serving and cooking pieces that she uses. I would love to track down the lipped medium sized glass pitcher that she uses in the temple food episode to store yogurt. I also love the fondue(spirit lamp) set that she uses in the Party girl episode. Though I live in the US, I have been able to hunt down (literally) and get British retailers to mail me stuff I love. I would greatly appreciate any help from you guys..if Re: Fissler. I purchased the 4 L covered saucepan (Original Pro Collection) a couple of years back at Harrods in London because I had never seen the brand before and it looked like an exceptionally well made line of cookware. I love this pan!!! It is the second best pan I own ... rating number two only after my heavily used copper Falk Culinair 2 qt saucier.
