Cookware: All-clad Vs. Kitchenaid ?

Q: Today my wife and I walked into a cookware store here in Seattle. We found a new line by KitchenAid; the Five ply 18/10 stainless steel clad cookware to be exact. The clerk suggested that, in her opinion, All-Clad is among the best on the market for stainless steel cookware. However she seemed to like the KitchenAid as well. Granted she admits that KitchenAid is new to the pots and pans market but they have the potential to give All-Clad a run for its money. Another gentleman from the net informed us that the KitchenAid is made by Meyer. So, the question is does anyone have any technical, practical and/or other information regarding KitchenAid's entry into the market? Also how does this compare to the comprible All-Clad?

A: I saw the stuff at Macy's and liked the feel of it a lot, the handles even more so than my All-Clad. Then I felt unfaithful and walked away from it.Kitchen Aide's cookware is made by Meyer Corp.- same people that make Anolon and Circulon... Nice handles made of cast steel.
