Cookwar

Q: I have recently been thinking about upgrading my cookware. From what I've seen and read, I think I'm like to purchase pots and pans with a stainless steel cooking surface. I have found some great deals at restaurant supply stores, but unfortunately all of the higher-quality pans I've found are of all-aluminum construction. I would like to find something similar to All-Clad at a lower price; pans that have a stainless liner with either a copper or aluminum layer for heat distribution. Does anyone have any input on what commercial-grade cookware is out there that fits this description? Any input would be appreciated, especially sources to get more info or to purchase the equipment.

A: Check out www.outletsonline.com (I do not have the address here). They are a true outlet of All-Clad. Prices are about 35% off retail. They are slight seconds, but nothing you won't do at home in a few weeks of use. I have purchased from them a couple of times, and have been very satisfied. I'll echo Barry's comment. The company is Cookware & More. I've bought over a dozen pieces of All-Clad from them. You'd never know they were seconds and after a month of use it wouldn't matter anyway.
