I Think Time Has Come

Q: Probably not. It took Labour a while to finally see some polices. Maybe that is why Kevin Rudd seems so far ahead, the other side has no policies. Someone like Peter Costello? I hate the man's policies but I do trust him more with the economy than the current tressurer. But if he becomes PM I do trust his judgement in picking a more credible tressurer than Kevin Rudd did.

A: Krudd's war policies are no different. He is committed to the war in Afghanistan, and the Libs had always planned for a systematic withdrawal from Iraq. Those two projects should have been first priority under the Howard Government. I hate to say it as I travel there often, those projects should not be part of the stimulus package. Spending billions and only employing a few workers with no direct benefits to small business is not what stimulates the economy. It always has 'meant a lot'. Think of it this way.. Running the country is no different to running a business or a household. The same principles apply. If you do not have a sound financial base, you're up the creek without a paddle!
