Faq: Where Print Cheapest Business Card?

Q: FAQ: Where print cheapest business card? I recall somewhere in the US you can print biz cards very cheap, but I don't recall the exact company name. t's somewhere in the midwest. Could some one out there inform me on this? I need to print some cards.

A: If you're just starting out you may consider this idea .... Avery stationary puts together a package that requires a computer, a major text editor (ie. WordPerfect, Word, WordStar, etc.) and a laser printer to make business cards. For about $13 (Canadian) you buy this package which includes 25 sheets which are pre-perforated to the size of a standard card and a 6 page instruction leaflet covering the configurations of about a half dozen major text editors. Once you run the perforated sheets through the printer, you tear along the appropriate lines and presto! you have cards. The main benefits are: 1) it's inexpensive and you can print any number of cards that you want (each sheet has 10 cards) 2) you can import your own graphics, fonts, etc. etc without too much trouble. 3) you can print up cards on a moment's notice, with access to a computer system.... The main drawback is that you have to spend extra time in smoothing out the edges of the cards otherwise they look like they come from pre-perforated sheets. IMHO this is a small nuisance when you're facing the realities of starting with small overhead costs.
