Canadian Correspondence Schools - International Correspondence Schools ?
Q: I am looking for information on a correspondence school
called ICS, can anyone direct me in that area? Or if anybody knows of anybody
that has been involved in ICS, could you please refer me to them... It is
basically the same as NRI, but it is Canadian based. I am wondering about
their validity, and rcognition in the business world if I showed up with a
diploma/certificate from this institute.
A:Unless either there are two ICSs or they moved recently, International
Correspondence Schools is (was?) headquartered in Scanton, Pennsylvania and
has been there for at least 30 years (probably a lot longer - but I WAS using
one of their computer systems back in the late 1960s).
They are recognized world-wide. I don't know what kind of official accredid-
dation they have, but it is probably the same as NRI.
